Kennebec Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited

Maine TU Trout Camp - 2007
Because of support by chapter members and friends of the chapter we are able to sponsor events like the Maine TU Trout Camp and our all day event Fly Casting for Women.
Think about becoming a member and maybe even volunteering your services.

There are some good people in Trout Unlimited - join and meet them.
Heck you can even come fishing with us.

Meetings generally have an update on current items of chapter interest followed by a talk by a guest speaker. (check the Newsletter)

Kennebec Valley Chapter, Trout Unlimited is raffling a 7 foot 4 weight, 2 piece, two tip, bamboo rod built by noted Canadian rod-maker A. J. Klys.

The rod comes with case and bag. It was made fairly recently (not an antique) and was donated by the maker to the Catskill Fly Fishing Museum which raffled it for fund-raising.

The raffle winners have donated it to KVCTU for the same purpose. The rod is designed for small streams with a soft action and casts well short and up to 40 feet.

Raffle tickets are $10 each and only 100 tickets will be sold. The raffle drawing will be held at the KVCTU dinner at Evergreen Campground in Solon, ME on June 28th. You need not be present to win.

Raffle tickets can be purchased by cash or check payable to KVCTU from any chapter director or at Fly Fishing Only in Fairfield.
