"How do I get to Ft. Halifax Park?" you ask?

Well here is your answer!

If coming from the South--
  • Traveling North on I-95, take Exit 33 (the first Waterville Exit).
  • Turn right off the exit, putting you on Kennedy Memorial Drive (also Rte 137).
  • Go straight through 5 traffic lights (do not count the one at the exit).
  • Turn right at the 6th light. This keeps you on Rte 137 across the Donald Carter Memorial Bridge. If you look left while on the bridge (upstream on the Kennebec) you will be looking at the area that is the beginning of our tournament area.
  • Turn left at the light at the east end of the Donald Carter Memorial Bridge.
  • You will then travel @ 1/2 mile, go through one more traffic light.
  • Cross a small bridge (the Sebasticook River).
  • Turn left immediately off the bridge into the Fort Halifax Park.
If coming from the North--
  • Traveling South on I-95, take Exit 33 (the second Waterville Exit).
  • Turn left off the exit, putting you on Kennedy Memorial Drive (also Rte 137).
  • Go straight through 6 traffic lights (the first is just under the overpass).
  • Turn right at the 7th light.

Come early, stay late, fish hard and fair, and most of all have fun!!!
